Upload Value information via Copy and Paste from Excel

Step 1: Export Your Linelist

1. Navigate to:
   Advanced > Export > Linelists > Export linelist in standard Blastramp format

2. Save the exported file and open it in Excel.

Step 2: Prepare Your Data in Excel

1. Remove Columns:
   Delete any columns that you do not plan to update.

2. Number Your Rows:
   Add a row number column to help map your data positioning during upload.

Go to Advanced > Utilities >  Upload Value information via Copy and Paste from Excel

Copy only the Rows and lines you are changing 

Step 3: Upload the Updated Values

1. Navigate to:
   Advanced > Utilities > Upload Value Information via Copy and Paste from Excel

2. Copy Only the Changed Data:
   Select and copy only the rows and columns that contain the values you are updating.

3. Paste and Match Positioning:

   • Paste your copied data into the box labeled:
     1) Paste your SKU/Value data in the box below

   • Enter the corresponding Excel row numbers in from Step 2:
     2) Data positioning

 The Default on the right is used if you did not put that information as a column, you manually enter the text in that field.  You can use both a default, and a column, and any fields that are empty will take the default value.

Step 4: Select Warehouse

• Choose the warehouse the updates should apply to.
  (Recommendation: update one warehouse at a time for large changes.)

Choose Order Update Option

After selecting the warehouse, you will be prompted to choose how the update should apply to existing orders in Update Pricing on Orders:

• No – Leave all orders alone (only the linelist will be updated)

• Yes, update all orders – Apply the value changes to all orders regardless of status

• Yes, but update only released orders – Apply changes only to orders that have already been released

• Yes, but only update unreleased and unshipped orders – Skip released/shipped orders and update the rest

Choose the option that best suits your workflow before proceeding.

Step 5: Test Before Committing

1. DO NOT toggle “Commit this data to the database” yet.
   This allows you to test your upload first.

2. Click Post Linelist.

3. Review the results displayed on the screen.

Step 6: Commit the Changes

1. Click BACK on your browser.

2. Toggle “Commit this data to the database” to ON.

3. (Optional: Toggle “Hide post results” to YES if uploading a large volume of data.)

4. Click Post Linelist again to finalize.

Your SKU values are now updated.
