In Blastramp, Seasons—also referred to as Linelists—serve as a structured way to group SKUs for various business operations. Each SKU must be assigned to a specific Linelist, which helps streamline order management, inventory synchronization, and availability settings.
Key Functions of Linelists:
- Order Grouping – Linelists define which SKUs can be included in an order, ensuring a clear structure for sales cycles and product assortments.
- Inventory Syncing – Certain system functions, such as inventory updates, can be enabled at the Linelist level, allowing bulk management of SKU availability.
- Availability Control – Linelists help set purchasing windows by defining when SKUs are available for order, aligning with seasonal sales strategies.
Handling Non-Seasonal Brands:
For brands that do not operate within seasonal selling windows, Linelists are still required for system functionality. In such cases, all SKUs can be assigned to a single “General” Linelist, ensuring compliance with system requirements while maintaining operational flexibility.
By structuring SKUs within Linelists, brands can efficiently manage product availability and sales processes, whether following seasonal cycles or maintaining year-round inventory.
