IMPORTANT NOTES:
- You can use this tool to add data to existing customers or if you are mapping a new database of customers to Blastramp.
- It is recommended to test with one or two customers first before making any large-scale edits.
- Be sure to export your customer data to Excel and keep a backup copy.
- If you're trying to update data in the "Bill To" column and it is currently toggled, ensure you update all the fields in that column.
- Refer to the provided Excel screenshot for an example.

Important: You must have "Ship To Name," "Ship To Address," and "Ship To Postal/Zip Code" in the fields as a minimum, even if you are not changing them, so the tool can identify the account you are updating.

If you are unsure of what you are changing, please contact help@blastramp.com and include the Excel document of the customers you are updating with the data position fields filled out (see Step 8).
1. Click on Utilities

2. Click on Upload Customers via Copy and Paste from Excel

3. Paste selected text into text area - DO NOT INCLUDE HEADERS ONLY THE DATA THAT YOU ARE CHANGING

4. Click on DATA POSITIONING FIELD

6. Type "1" This position will be your first column from Excel (e.g. Ship To Name).

7. Type "2"

8. Fill in each position field with the matching numbers from your Excel document example until all positions you are changing match the order from your Excel example.
9. Click on "Post Customers" without the "Commit This to Database" toggled to test your data.

10. Once successful, you will see the test data changed.
11. Click back on your browser and toggle "Commit This Data to the Database."

12. Click on Post Customers

13. Copy element titled "12345 FAKE ST"

14. Click on Search Text

15. Paste "Customer Data" into input

16. Select Customers

17. Click on GO

18. Customer TEST - V4G1E0 to confirm changes

19. Click on Edit Account

20. Confirm changes made
