Add Inventory Categories for Processing Returns
Overview
Before processing returns, Inventory Categories must be added. This ensures accurate tracking and management of returned items.
Step 1: Navigate to Inventory Categories
📍 Go to:
🔹 Advanced > Administration > Portal Settings > Inventory Grade - manage the inventory grades within blast ramp (eg. first, defective, switchout, etc.)
Step 2: Add a New Inventory Category
- Enter the Category Code.
- Enter the Category Description.
- Click "Create Inventory Category".
- The new category will appear in the list above once successfully created.
Once the inventory category is added, you will be able to process returns correctly. Each Category is tracked as its own stock, so you can track returned items without them being unintentionally allocated or shipped on orders.🚀
